Hello!! I haven’t posted a blog in awhile and I wanted to share a quick update on all the things regarding the world race!!

I am officially fully funded!!

This is only by the grace of God and through numerous people’s generous hearts to give financially and through prayer! I am completely in awe of the Lord’s faithfulness to support me as He leads me on this journey. Finding a way to raise 15,800 dollars last November seemed almost impossible, yet there is nothing that is too hard for our God!!

I leave in 9 day!!

My parents and I will fly out on August 27th, and then training will start on the 28th!! I will be in Gainesville Georgia at the Adventures in Missions base for 6 weeks being trained and disciplined along with my squad mates! We will then travel to Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, South Africa, and Eswatini.

As you may notice to the left you will see my teammates!! Basically our squad has 22 racers (people like me), 4 team leaders (who are WR alumni), one squad mentor, and two couples that are our elders (who encourage us and give us wisdom along the way).

The 22 people on my squad are split up into 3 different teams, each team has an alumni team leader. This is so that we can be more effective and intentional while doing ministry. We have had a quite a few zooms calls but nothing is going to compare to meeting them in person in 9 days!!

How you can be praying!

Prayer is so powerful and we appreciate all of your support via prayer!! Jesus says in John 15:7, “if you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” Notice He says “if my words abide in you,” so powerful prayers are ones that are rooted in the Word of God.

– Pray for my squad. Ask the Lord to help us walk in humility (Philippians 2:3-4), work in unity (Ephesians 4:3-6, John 17:21), love without measure (1 Corinthians 13), hands that bring peace (John 16:33), smiles that our marked with joy (Psalm 32:11), and strength for the challenges (Joshua 1:9).

– Pray for my team. Pray that we would be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17) and that deep fellowship and unity would be cultivated. Pray that we would be faithful stewards of the mysteries of God (1 Corinthians 4:1-2).

– Pray for my squad leaders, that they would lead with wisdom and discernment (James 1:5). Gracie Cottrill, Milly Orlich, Clayton Campbell, Nick Scipione

– Pray for my squad mentor, Luis Lam. Ask the Lord to give him wisdom, understanding, and patience. Pray that he would walk according to the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25).

– Pray for training camp, that the Lord would equip us for every good work (Philippians 1:6). And that any walls that we have built that might hinder God from working in us and through us would fall (Joshua 6:1-27)

– Pray for all the Adventures in Missions administration as they work behind the scenes, pray that they would make decisions that would help to mobilize the church for the sole goal of making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

– Pray that we would walk according to the Word of God and daily find our delight in Him (Psalm 1:1-6).

– Pray for the hearts of the people we will be ministering to that the Lord would open their eyes to see His glorious light (Acts 9:17-18), and that salvation would come to all who hear (Romans 10:14-15)

– Pray that the Holy Spirit would go before us and prepare the way (Exodus 13:21).

– Pray for the ministries that we will be partnering with in each country, that the Lord would bless the work of their hands (Deuteronomy 28:12) and that the Lord of the harvest would continually send forth laborers into the harvest (Luke 10:2).

– Pray that any plan of the enemy to hinder the gospel from being preached would collapse, for we know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)!

– Pray for all the family and friends back home that the Lord would use this mission trip to encourage and strengthen their faith (Matthew 5:16).

Thank you!

Thank you for all your love and support and I can’t wait to keep y’all updated on all that God does these next 9 months! Praying that you would fall more in love with the Lord every day!!

With love,
